Video: When Ovine Computation Fails to Induce Sleep

When counting sheep fails as first line therapy, what measures can you recommend to help your patient get some sleep?

We asked Jose S. Loredo, MD, MS, MPH, to offer some practical guidance about the treatment of insomnia. Dr Loredo, who practices critical care medicine, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and internal medicine, spoke with us at the recent American College of Physicians meeting in San Diego. Dr Loredo is Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of California at San Diego.
