Dr Shahady is clinical professor of family medicine at the University of Florida and the University of Miami; an associate faculty member in the residency program at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville; President for Medicine of the North Florida/South Georgia Chapter of the American Diabetes Association; and medical director of the Diabetes Master Clinician Program of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians Foundation in Jacksonville. He is also a long-time member of the Editorial Board of Consultant, and a frequent contributor on diabetes.
