This preview of EADV 2026 provides a teaser of new data and interviews being highlighted at this Vienna dermatology conference.
HCPLive will provide on-site coverage of the 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress, held September 30 to October 3 at the Austria Center Vienna, featuring late-breaking trial data and interviews with dermatology leaders.¹,²
The congress returns to Vienna for the third time, following editions in 2007 and 2016, and organizers expect more than 17,000 attendees.³ This year's program includes late-breaking abstracts and poster presentations across prurigo nodularis, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.

Late-breaking sessions include 52-week phase 3 results for oturkibart in adults with prurigo nodularis. Investigators will also present 5-year data from the phase 3 ALLEGRO-LT study of ritlecitinib (Litfulo) in patients with alopecia areata and at least 25% scalp hair loss, analyzed by baseline severity.
In hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), the phase 2 placebo-controlled LOTUS trial will report week 16 efficacy and safety for abdakibart, a humanized, high-affinity immunoglobulin G4 anti-interleukin (IL)-1β agent. The presentation includes International Hidradenitis Suppurativa Severity Score System (IHS4) subgroup results and lesion-type analyses in moderate to severe disease.
Atopic dermatitis data will feature 16-week results from the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled ADTouch trial of lebrikizumab (Ebglyss) in patients with atopic hand and foot dermatitis. Top-line phase 2a proof-of-concept data for EVO301, a novel IL-18 binding protein, in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis are also on the agenda.
A 2-year analysis from the ICONIC-TOTAL randomized controlled trial will examine the long-term durability and safety of icotrokinra, a targeted oral peptide, in psoriasis affecting high-impact sites.
Beyond the late breakers, HCPLive is set to report on several poster presentations. An open-label extension of a phase 3 clinical trial will detail long-term efficacy and safety of stapokibart, an anti-IL-4Rα agent, in adolescents with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
In alopecia areata, 52-week results from the phase 2b REZOLVE-AA study will assess rezpegaldesleukin, a novel regulatory T cell-inducing biologic, in patients with severe to very severe disease. A subgroup analysis of the phase 3 CLEAR-2 study will evaluate picankibart efficacy across body mass index and body weight categories in adults with plaque psoriasis.
Hidradenitis suppurativa posters include a patient subgroup analysis of izokibep, a novel IL-17A inhibitor, from a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter phase 3 study. Investigators will also share phase 2 results from a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 2/3 trial of SHR-1819 in adults with prurigo nodularis.
